Maybe I'm just saying this because I'm such a huge fan, but I think The Master will do fairly well at the Oscars. Not that awards matter, but if you're naming the 10 best motion pictures of the year and The Master isn't on the list...

8 nominations, and that's not counting Production Deisign etc.
I think PTA has enough love and support, plus many that like the movie truly champion it.
I predict only 3 nominations: Supp. Actor (Hoffman), Supp. Actress (Adams) and Cinemathography.
ReplyDeleteI think for Best Actor, they will go with Lewis, Hawkes, Jackman, Washington and Cooper. I know this Phoenix snub is very unfair, but it seems likely!
I haven't been paying attention. Is Matthew McConaughey considered a favorite for Best supporting actor?
