FBF: PTA at São Paulo International Short Film Festival in 1994


Again courtesy of a very alert follower, we have a brief video of PTA discussing audience reactions, presumably to Cigarettes & Coffee, at the 1994 São Paulo International Short Film Festival. Less talky, more watchy!

    I doubt it. I am guessing she is Paul's former girlfriend Wendy Weidman. She was one of the producers of Cigarettes & Coffee. She seems perfectly nice.

    This guy has a bunch of photos from the set, some of which suggest that they may have wrapped now. Like the one with the big ol' bag of heroin with the tag #wrapgift. Not sure if there's any truth to it, but there is a picture of a real long dolly track in there.

      If you mirror the image of that first page of that screenplay, you can make out the description and dialogue. It is word for word the same as the book.

      I noticed that too -- I did just look at the time that these were posted, turns out they came up around mid-july but the owner only tagged them with #inherentvice today. My bad. Still a nice look at the set in some photos.
