Burt Reynolds Finally Talks PTA, Boogie Nights

Mr. Burt Reynolds recently sat down for a 90-minute conversation with the Movie Geeks United! podcast. During the course of this in-depth discussion, Reynolds spoke at length about a number of his films and iconic roles -- including Boogie Nights & Jack Horner, which he has apparently still not watched all the way through.

Check out the 4 minute excerpt below:

  1. Man, kind of a judgy interviewer... he should be quiet and let BR speak and not put all his "stuff" on it. (I don't really CARE what he thinks...)

  2. Um, I DID let him speak I merely wanted to pipe up for the film itself, and encourage him to watch it all the way through, and learn to love one of his greatest roles.

    2. Hey man I thought you did a fantastic job and finally told BR what we're all thinking: he's just so perfect in that role. Thanks a lot!

  3. Interesting to hear him speaking relatively positively Paul here, I don't think I've ever heard him really praise him that much at all before. Hard to know how genuine it is but I don't think he's the kind of guy that would mince words about it, particularly now after never bothering in the last 20 years so maybe he has kind of had a change of opinion on him. I wonder if he's seen any of PTA's stuff since then.
